genius vs genuine. you are missing my subtle way of saying the photo is probably two separate photos stuck together. nearly all Milky Way photos are, since it is difficult to get the Milky way to show up that well without tracked or stacked photos, which would blur the landscape. the real question is, does the Milky Way ever line up like this over the waterfall? it might be something that can actually be viewed, but the fact that the waterfall is not identified bothers me. i'm open to correction from the photographer!

I have to say it dosn`t matter if foto was taken in August or in November - what matters is that the image is absoult genius!!

Beautiful, but having a hard time "picturing" this being taken on 8/23. The Andromeda Galaxy is to the center left of the sky section and the Double Cluster is the two touching blobs at the top of the Milky Way. On 8/23 it would be dark enough (Granvin, Norway) from 23:00 to 04:08, at most, to get the Milky Way that well. During that time, Andromeda/Double Cluster would be moving from the northeast to directly overhead. When they are in the northeast, Andromeda is higher than the Double Cluster, not lower, and the Milky Way is to the left of Andromeda, not to the right. However, during the winter months, they are in the northwest, when they appear as they do in this photo. I of course could have made some error, but currently can not see one. Maybe it wasn't taken on 8/23?
