We had this troop of baboons roosting close to camp and each morning before they ventured out to forage the adults would sit and warm up in the early morning sunlight. I had planned to spend the early hours of sunlight with them, to capture the internal politics that come with a every troop of baboons. I positioned my self, so I would take back lit images and waited for the action to start. I noticed this one female sitting on a termite mound she had her youngster with her. I reasoned that little things warm up quicker than big things, so anticipating that the young baboons to get active soon. I shifted my camera to focus on them. Soon they were jumping and playing in the early morning light. I photograhed a moment when one youngster jumped to a tree.
