According to Country Magazine, the barn built by Thomas Alma Moulton and his sons between about 1912 and 1945 is "The Most Photographed Barn in America". The claim is fully justified, since the barn is the perfect foreground for a dramatic shot of the Teton Range. In my opinion, the classic horizontal framing of this shot lessens the impact of the majestic Tetons, so I walked away from Mormon Row until I was far enough to frame the barn vertically in my 200mm lens.
As a result, Grand Teton and Mount Owen now command the viewer's attention.
