A wild Spotted-Necked Otter gorges himself on a piece of freshly-caught catfish. I was sitting in a hide in a bird sanctuary overlooking a wetland, very prepared to photograph birds in flight but having too much 'glass' for what enfolded in front of me. A whole family of these otters came out from the water right under the hide and proceeded to swim around and check out the point of my lens protruding from the hide. Eventually this one came up with his meal, and I removed my teleconverter and got into a position on the other side of the hide to be able to capture a few frames of this rare opportunity.
