The Jacob Wrey Mould Fountain was restored and returned to City Hall Park in 1999 after spending nearly 80 years in Crotona Park in the Bronx. It was an original fixture of the park when it was designed in 1871 but was moved to the Bronx in 1920 where it fell into disrepair. It was brought back to City Hall Park in 1999 for the grand renovation. It is primarily made of granite and is lit by 4 gas-fueled bronze candelabras at night.
