This shot was shot last night sept.5th, at a location called Ersfjord, just a 20min drive outside of Tromsø, Northern Norway.
I have seen a few auroras in my life, and I have been to this location a few times, but this was just sick!! I am out of words! I think all I can say is WOW!
If this is what the coming years has to offer when our sun is heading into Solar Maximum, then we surely has something to look forward to.
Moon was from behind, lightning up the mountains, which still are dark due to lack of snow.
Shot with a Canon EOS 5D Mark III + Canon EF 15mm 2.8 Fisheye, 2.5sec exposure, ISO5000.
