These Karen students are waiting in line for warm clothes and food donated by my friends and I. Every winter, most people in northern Thailand suffer from the cold weather particularly those living in the remote mountainous areas. Therefore, warm clothes and blankets are highly needed especially the much less fortunate ones. My friends and I organize a project every year in order to help the children as well as the elderly by asking for funding and unwanted clothes from those who can spare. It is obviously a fun project and we cannot wait to do so again this coming winter. After all, the smiles like these really make us happy and truly encourage us to continue doing such project over and over again without wanting anything in return.
