This image was taken of the 2nd last "Night Launch" of the Space Shuttle Endeavour. Mission STS-123 on March 11, 2008. I took this image 6 miles /10 km from the launch pad, using a DX sensor camera with a 300mm F2.8 lens and a 1.3x teleconverter. Manual mode was necessary to control the exposure. This was definitely a night to remember !!
