Findhorn Bay, Moray, Scotland

Tightly packed coloured pebbles, sand blasted, air died and worn smooth by the repeated grinding action of the tides line the edges of the dunes above Findhorn beach a magnificent expanse of open sand. These were photographed in the soft muted twilight of a summer sunset which has graciously and gently enhanced the colours of the stones.
