Without a doubt the most intense sunset I have seen this year, on the Alvord Playa in southeast Oregon.
One great thing about this location is that you can photograph 360 degrees in whatever direction the light looks best. One great thing about this sunset is the light was crazy in 270 of those 360 degrees.
It's also great to be able to drive (fast) and camp directly on the playa.
