I absolutely adore your Kingfisher captures Lea. I've had more than a few opportunities with Black-Capped, Stork-Billed, White-Throated, Blue-Eared, Collared, Pied, and even Common over here in my neck of the woods, yet my results pale in comparison to nearly every one of yours; seems like you're much more deserving of the larger variety of species we have, as I know you'd be doing them far better justice than me. Still, I draw tremendous inspiration from your captures and I promise I won't give up until I've come much, much closer to the level you're at ;^)

Recently back from a short photo shoot in remote far Eastern Victoria and was so fortunate to see 3 Azure Kingfisher, albeit from a boat at a distance. I was pretty pleased with my shots till I saw your image tonight! Congratulations on your portrayal. Love the feathering and the reflection in his/her eye.
