On August 2nd, 2011 a lightning storm like no other lit up the sky all night long in Tucson, Arizona. Starting at 7:30 in the evening, lightning flashes were still going until 7am the next morning. This shot is a single exposure lasting about 3 1/2 minutes overlooking the southeast area of Tucson known as Vail.
