An American Bald Eagle from the Norfolk Botanical Garden in Norfolk, Virginia. There's been much talk lately about removing the eagle's nest from the garden due to safety issues because of the airport next to the garden. On April 27, 2011, the female eagle that had been nesting with the male for nearly eight years was struck and killed by a jet that was landing at Norfolk International Airport.
