This one is from April 2012, earlier this year (obviously). The forecast called for snow, which was extremely unusual for this of year in this region. Seizing the opportunity I traveled west to the mountains on the border of Virginia and West Virginia. I was in for a treat, that is for sure. The mixture of deep snow and fresh spring foliage was something very unique.
