Challenging because I never did any wedding photography. Getting prepared was the message.
I watched hours of wedding photography video's on Scott Kelby training. I learned to work with speedlites, and practised on my wife and mother-in-law who played "just-married" a couple of times. I also scouted the locations in order to be prepared.
For the photoshoot Lien and Karl choose an abandonded village in the port of Antwerp which is set to disappear. Graffiti artists are having a free play there, and lots of abandoned houses are decorated with fantastic graffiti.
The shoot itself was a lot of fun. I love the location, the light was good, and Lien and Karl were great in front of the camera.
This picture is one of my favorites. I used a wide angle to get the complete rat on the picture.
