Misty atmosphere in what was formerly certainly a beautiful forest ... This is an image taken from the lake of Mont Cenis. During the spring, the level of water is particularly low.
I was surprised to come across these strains rather well preserved, almost fossilized by the sediments accumulated by the lake. These remnants of an ancient forest are usually covered with more than a dozen meters of water when the level is at its maximum.
