Inland above the Eyre Peninsula, the countryside is dotted with granite rock structures such as this near the town of Minnipa. Water runoff from these rocks was a valuable resource hence many of them have dams at their bases. The other named rocks in the area include Pildappa Rock and Minnipa hill.
Photographically, it was a good opportunity for reflections on a beautifully crisp dawn!
