I went up to Shuksan this morning for sunrise, but alas the mountain would not poke it's head out and there was no color in the sky anywhere. The fall color was amazing though and with a fresh dusting of snow on the mountains I decided to see what esle I could find. I have been wanting to practice focus blending so I went to the other side of Picture Lake, shooting away from Mount Shuksan and shot this composition. This is my second attempt at focus blending, the first failed miseralbly, so I would be very curious as to your thoughts. No great skies or fireworks this morning, but there is often subtlety to the beauty around us. Anyway thanks for stopping by and your comments and critiques are always welcome.
