These legs are not under the bridge anymore, but the image remains. A friend of mine makes sculpture and tried to donate this to the city as free art. The city turned him down, so him and his brother hauled these legs down to Cathedral Park, bolted them down onto these pilings, waited until nobody was looking and just left. They were down here for something like four or five years, despite floods and local wildlife. Eventually somebody went through the trouble to un-bolt them and drag them to the shore. After that it was only a matter of time before somebody stole them away for scrap metal.
