On a rainy dreary afternoon when Marianne and I fell asleep in the car while waiting for a sunset shoot at this location, the sun suddenly beamed through a gap in the clouds leading to this incredible rainbow. Of all the rainbows I have seen, this one is definitely the most vivid and fortunately we were in a wonderful position to photograph it (though it meant sprinting across the headland to get to the preferred vantage point!) I prefer this version of the image , however on other sites, the alternate version side on seems to be much more popular?
