Feather Sound, St. Petersburg Florida. This was my second attempt at photographing this location (the first attempt was spoiled by rough seas) and it was eating me up to get back. So this morning I woke up at 4:30AM to get to this location by Kayak. I started near the outer edge of the mangroves on the horizon line in this photo. On the way, I was lucky enough to encounter a pod of dolphins feeding on the local baitfish. I beached my kayak and waded in 4 feet of water (almost got stung by a jellyfish too!) to get the right composition. Unfortunately, the sky was pretty boring but I hope to make it back again and retry. Nikon D700, 16-35/4, 76 second exposure.
