This happened by sheer luck as these fellas move so quickly and it is hard enough to get them at all let alone in flight. I did post one earlier of him resting on a branch and was thrilled since they are only seen at the high high altitudes and My D3s was not working that day and I only had the nikon D300 which does not have nearly as good an ISO as the D3s. It is amazing to see these beauties fly with such a large beak but they usually have their heads tilted up.
