January 22nd, 2012 : A great eruption shook the sun. Scientists say that this is the most important solar eruption detected since 2005. That means that the wonderful northern lights will be visible from earth 2 days later, if the weather permits...

January 24th, 2012 : Tromsø, Norway. Before the end of the working day, a group of people start to be active on the chat (me included). "Do somebody go to see the northern lights tonight?", "Do you have a place for me in your car"? ... We are willing to see this show. Definitely!

Once on Kvaløya island, one of the most renown spots to observe the green dancers in Tromsø, we wait for hours for the show to start. But nothing happens and we are getting cold. My phone rings. Some friends of us are stuck in the snow, not far from where we are. That's what they said. 20 minutes later we finally find them and help them when suddenly, the show begins...
