Cascade Fraga da Pena.
The Cascade Fraga da Pena is a Portuguese mountain waterfall that is located near the village of Benfeita, Arganil, Coimbra District, Sierra Açor.
This waterfall originates from a geological accident and is considered one of the biggest gains among the natural resources of the protected landscape of Sierra Açor.
The waters of this cascade will crash if run by a very narrow mountain valley, thus giving rise to a micropaisagem, which comes abruptly, endowed with lush vegetation covering the shale.
The slope of the Cascade Fraga da Pena reaches 20 meters high. Their food comes from the Barroca Degrainhas, where it forms a first sheet of water, they waters that flow to other smaller and again giving rise to a cascade.
