Thousands of tourists from all over the world roam the narrow streets of Venice, trying to get a glimpse at the classic views of this magnificent city, not realizing the classic Venice is beyond Plaza San Marcos and the Rialto bridge.
This view over the canal towards the old, wooden wharf and gondola dock brought up vivid imaginations of what Venice might have been like 200 years ago.
