A spiral staircase from the Westferry Circus estate in the Docklands. I came across this after being a bit disappointed that the car park that I was going to take a photo of was closed off and walking back to the DLR station found this spiral staircase. Now its not the biggest spiral staircase compared to others, only one floor but what I do like is how the straight lines, circles and curves really work well together. I couldn't quite manage to fit all of it with the Sigma 10-20 but I plane to revisit with my fisheye which I am sure will work better as it will be able to catch a bit more in the frame.
It seems that the Sigma adds some natural vignetting which I suppose is expected when shooting at 10mm, do you like it or should I remove it? I was planning to go into London today but again the weather has other ideas and after having a busy weekend decorating I think its a post processing day from the photos on Friday and updating my photography location 'to do' list :-).
