I had the legs of my tripod all splayed out across a pile of huge boulders in order to get high enough to see over the trees. You would have laughed if you saw how ridiculous I looked trying to balance myself behind it so that I could see what I was doing. I had to wait quite a while for the boat, with my feet wobbling on the jagged points of the limestone boulders the whole time. Ow! Oh well, it was a beautiful view, and the hike up the hill was quite nice as well.
