The unusual colour of this Leopards eyes really had me interested in getting an image of her.

Photographic conditions were not ideal, with her lying in a thicket, feeding on the remains of an impala kill she had made a few days before.

I tried to make the most of it, and am happy that I did, because I never saw her again after this was taken.

I tried to find a gap through which I could snap away, and she obliged by tilting her head just enough to fit into the natural frame created by some fallen over logs and branches, as she was chewing on some skin.

There are not many blue eyed leopards around, and I find them the most beautiful creatures.
