Everyone tries to look perfect in pictures so I'm trying to break that stereotype. Not to say I don't enjoy people looking good in pictures, I'm just trying to be a little different.
This isn't something super creative and I'm sure it's been done before but all I care about is the fact that it's being done. It's something that I can keep working at and eventually evolve this into something new.

The lighting is my take on clamshell lighting. It's an Alien Bee B800 fired into a 64" PLM almost directly over the subject at about 1/8th power or so. The fill light is a Lumopro LP160 fired through a 42" white umbrella upwards at the subject to lighten any shadows the PLM causes. I think the power on the 160 was around 1/16th or 1/32nd. Not much, just a little splash. The EXIF data is on the right so you can see my settings.
