This photo was taken during a photo workshop that I led in Tuscany November 2012.
The photo is an HDR merged from 7 exposures 1 stop apart to capture all light without burning out any part of the bright light from the sun. The merge was done in the 32 bit plugin for Lightroom from Photomatix and then tone mapped in Lightroom 4.2.
