Moorgate Underground Station (Suburban Platforms), London, England

Today I am meeting fellow Flickr buddy and photographer Daniel Borg for some photography on the tube, should be good day and hopefully the weather won't get in out way (well it shouldn't if we are underground) :-).

Alot of commuters use these spiral staircase to get from the ticket hall above down to the suburban platforms that run along the East Coast Mainline and probably never notice its intricate details if they were to look up. I managed to get this image by holding my camera in the middle of the staircase with the A77's flip out screen looking towards me. I can't say it enough how versatile the screen is on this new camera of mine. I would not have been able to achieve this image with a conventional viewfinder or camera with a static live view screen.

Hope you all have a great Wednesday!
