While making preparations for the Canon Wildlife Photography Workshop I was invited to lead up at Khao Kheow Open Zoo last Sunday, a couple of days before I visited one of the areas we would be taking our attendees to where my beautiful Siberian Tiger cubs are found. Main reason I went there was actually to grab some photos of the outside of the enclosure, so I could show examples during the theory part of our workshop in the morning of what they would encounter once we got down to the Big Cat Complex, and in order to explain a few techniques on how to acquire a decent shot through the wire fencing.
It will probably come as no surprise to know that, once I'd taken the photos I came for, I couldn't resist the temptation of staying on a little longer to watch the beautiful sisters at play and, much like they did when they were very much smaller, try to stalk up on me as if they wanted to "play" with me too ;^)
Needless to say, my camera was at hand and I took the opportunity to grab a few more frames to add to my growing portfolio of them. This is Kow Hom, the slightly smaller sister of Mali, though just as beautiful, curious, and playful!
