This surely goes down as one of my favourite avian images to date. A pair of highly endangered Bearded Vultures, also known as the Lammergeier, fight over scraps of meat and bone. The Drakensberg in South Africa is home to only about 200 breeding pairs of these birds, and great effort has been made to conserve these amazing and majestic birds.
