This leopard spent over 30 minutes slowly stalking a black-backed jackal along a dry riverbed in Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, South Africa. The cat froze for several seconds before launching its attack. The leopard, however, was not successful, as the jackal bolted and avoided the leopard’s claws by just a few inches.
