This is freakin awesome. I love the varying hues of red and blue you get here throughout the day. Very nice.

Beautiful! I was just at Upper Antelope yesterday...what a beautiful place. I admit, though, I'd have loved to have had the place a bit more to myself. ;-)

Beautiful image of this arch, which is quite difficult to shoot satisfactorily (I should know ... been there thrice and never got a worthy image of it). Love how you processed this, Ron! The soft radiance is amazing, and there are a lot of subtle tints and shades to feast one's eyes on. Definitely V+F!

What a truly magical shot! Beautifully composed. The details and colors are fantastic. Amazing gradient of colors. So, how we're you able to get the VIP treatment of a photographic tour in not having hoards of people with you? I'd love to know because I've never been there and I'd really love to go for the first time in the right way.i look forward to your response. Amazing shot Ron, thanks for this.

Thanks! There are two Antelope slot canyons: Upper and Lower. Upper is more popular (the photographs you see with light beams going from the top of the ceiling to the ground are from Upper antelope). For photographers, Upper requires paying a tour operator (something like $50 for two hours if I recall), but you're going to be mixed in with all the other tourists, and it's difficult to get shots without them in your frame or with enough time to compose something good with good light. Lower Antelope (which is where this photo is taken) on the other hand you just hand over $26 and they leave you alone for 2 hours. It's not as popular as Upper - some days there will be some other photographers and some days there won't be. After the 2 hours you can return and pay for another 2 hours.
