I find this VW series fascinating Kim. The mix of three elements such as the Model VW with nature and sparklers, and to make the image work - pure genius vision if you ask me.

It's great that your looking for critique and i hope you find it. May I suggest that you do not look at a dislike as something wrong with your image, a dislike can be for anything as art is subjective.

For example say I leave a dislike comment along these lines.

Your work is technically great but would like to see more variety as your images of the same dog is becoming stale and boring in my opinion"

That comment would be my opinion based on how I feel about seeing that image. The photographer who took the image is not aiming the work only at me instead he's putting that image up on 500px because he is proud of that image and wants the community to see it.

The end result is the same the dislike button has been used and has affected the pulse rating but it now has a comment that the photographer in my opinion should not be in agreement with because he is not aiming the image solely at me to judge.

Whats not to like:) you have created a niche with these types of photographs and when you do so, who would I be to criticise a type of work that I do not do myself :)

Im surprised people take the time to hit Dislike , thats more than likely people just being mean.....

Now, if you start doing more landscape work, or better still Black labradors! I will have something to say.... i hope :D

How do you actually get your photograph to enter that group. I've put the tag on one of my photographs but doesn't seem to appear. :)

I didn't think the page was about criticism but really just to show off our photos and that we exist! To be honest, I have never seen any criticisms in a picture! I myself have stopped me before I posted anything just because I didn't know it was "aloud" to critic and I didn't want to destroy the page's tradition and great atmosphere! A couple of times I have not been able to keep me without written something like "if you do like this, it can get better" but right after I've changed my mind and then I can not delete the comment! Not that I didn't feel or think what I just wrote , but just because absolutely no one else commented critically in any way! Ever!

I think that 500px should get something to check (like the safe work when you upload) for those who want criticism! Then each choose and it is an easy way to see if someone wants criticism!

But I really wanted to say that I do like this picture! It's creative and nicely captured! :O))
