On Greenmarket Square, you had all the stalls, with all the arty stuff, we both noticed how creative the local artists are, often with minimum resources.
Later as we are not really into souvenirs, we rather support local Artists and buy sometyhing worhtwhile.
The man with the funky hair-style paints oil on canvas, one of which we bought, his name is Peter Mukendi (see Paul's portrait of him here:500px.com/photo/19025703). He was a great character with a very deep voice and a charming accent, haha...
It was our first 'proper' day and we decided to explore the center of the city. It was a mild day, the sun was out, yes, 'another beautiful day in paradise' we joked.
Wandering and admiring everything, I noticed how colourful it was, and also the people, oh dear... how pale we looked!
