The might Zambezi plunges into the Victoria Falls gorge as late afternoon sunlight casts a warm glow in the spray mist. This is the dry season of the falls, when it is in flood the whole gorge is just one gigantic wall of water and it's impossible to take out a camera in the blizzard of spray it creates.
Mosi-oa-Tunya means 'the smoke that thunders' and it is the name of the park in which the waterfall is situated.
