This I shot today nov.27th just outside of Tromsø, northern Norway, where currently large amounts of humpback whales, and orchas are present. There are very high amounts of herring in the arctic sea at the moment which the whales are feasting upon.
An amazing creature and a thrilling experience. Got some more keepers, will post more later.

One of the larger rorqual species, adults range in length from 12–16 metres (39–52 ft) and weigh approximately 36,000 kilograms (79,000 lb). The humpback has a distinctive body shape, with unusually long pectoral fins and a knobbly head.
