The famous sight - Oxbow Bend - was behind me, but I couldn't take my eyes off the grand sky facing the other way. Nature doesn't always give you the proper arrangement. Besides, it was more peaceful here, although mucky enough to suck the rubber boot off my tripod. Up at the popular viewpoint for Oxbow, I could hear numerous shouts of "Hey you, get out of my shot. Move it." I'm surprised there wasn't a fight.
