There's a park in China, where the surrounding beauty is simply too good to be true.
It's Huanglongsi National Park.
Sometimes I felt like everything around me is unreal — I've never seen so many quickly changing landscape scenes as here.
The park is busy with internal tourists, which are plenty, and rarely, maybe just once an hour, you'd see a white person in the park.

Then, I red in your description that this place is located in China, like in the manga...Would Rumiko Takahashi have been inspired by these ponds to write the manga? Who knows...
