This small pearl spotted owlet landed in a tree just outside our rondavel at Arathusa Safari Lodge in Sabi Sand, South Africa (adjacent to Kruger National Park). The owl stayed in the tree for a few minutes, which gave enough time to fire off a few images. Special thanks to Roy (ranger and tracker at Arathusa) for pointing out this beautiful owl to us.
