It always amazes me the blind faith some travellers have on their guides and no matter how much you praise a place, if it's not in the guide, it must not be worth visiting... I was taking some foreign photographers to the Iguazu falls and suggested to make a little stop on the road. At first they didn't liked the idea -it wasn't on their guide!- but then they saw this piece of heaven... they couldn't belive this is actually 100m away from the main road and 200m from the bus station... INSIDE the city! This small fall has a nice natural pool and many birds -a kingfisher came really close but we were enjoying the water and couldn't care less. We stay the whole afternoon and missed our bus and messed our whole schedule, but it was worth it :) So next time you're travelling, loose the guide and make friends, that's the way to travel!
Taken with a ND8 filter and then I played a little with PS, trying to make a hdr-like processing; also cloned a wire in the sky, at the back -way back-.
