This is Paul, my dear husband. He is a genuine Capetonian, born in the center of town, close to The Gardens. He grew up there.
He left country and family over 24 years ago, a photo-journalist, under Apartheid, he was in grave danger and HAD to leave to save his life. He was pleasantly surprised to see how his country had made the transition! Perfect? No, but then is it anywhere??? Under the circumstances it seems fine.
It was time to go 'home', emotional moments, he had missed 'his' Mountain, so, I photographed him, on the flank of Table Mountain, with behind him the town, the harbour, the bay, Blouberg and Table-View in the distance...

Have a great day and as always, THANKS, M, (*_*)
