Great shot. Nice job with the comp here. It makes it look like the mountains go on forever!

Artist Point up by Baker/Shuksan is another good example - extremely trampled. This is a great shot - I've never been there but it is on my (long) list.

I'm actually glad they do it, I've been to far too many places where the meadows and ground has been trampled to dust, Paradise meadows in Mt. Rainier for one. They've done a great job at Logan Pass restricting access and keeping the the meadows pristine.

Impressive. Don't blame NPS for keeping people off the meadow even though maybe a little limiting from photographic POV. They need to do everything they can and then some to preserve the areas around heavily used trails (in any park).

It would be if you were allowed off the busy boardwalk trail. Park service is very strict here about wandering off trail and damaging the meadows.

This is so very tranquil. Love the peaceful mood of the image. Those rocks look like a great place to kick back and enjoy a trail lunch on a warm summer day.
