On this day, November 6th, 2009, the waves came. We were without a storm, without a Tsunami, without wind. So where did these waves come from? A wild storm that hit the southern California Coast generated powerful swells that affected us hundreds of mile away. The result was a four hour dramatic show of wave power. Some of the largest waves hitting Shore Acres were recorded on this day.
