Color correction hell is when you've stared at and tweaked an image for so long that you've got no idea what the scene really looked like, and how close your image is to that reality.

The road to it is surrounded by mixed light sources, such as blue sky, evening haze, and sunlight filtered through foliage. A particularly active corner of it is occupied by people who assume that every device in the world reproduces color the same way their uncalibrated computer screen does.

The only way out is to accept that 1) natural light is always changing, and 2) No one's going to hike the trail to compare this image to reality anyway.
