Monument Cove is a wonderful off-the-map location in Acadia National Park. The "monument" refers to the structure which is lit by the light of dawn at the left of the image. I was not able to give it a sense of scale because the cove was deserted at 5:40 AM but this stunning natural monument is about 20 feet tall.
