The violin brings back many memories as my father played one in his younger years and it was from Europe (I was born in Germany) and he made me take violin lessons and try to play in the school orchestra. However, I hated it because it was not a "cool" thing to pjay and so I gave it up and played drums, clarinet and in later years joined a Mummers String Band in Philadelphia and played the banjo. For the 25 years I played in the string band we would do these really long parades and I would think to myself that had I listened to my father I could have been playing the violin which weighs next to nothing instead of this 10 pound banjo. I however, do love violin music. Wow that was a long time to say I like the shot and the wonderful story about the Naschmarkt. Seems like a great way to spend the day and eat and shop. That combination can never be beat. Love your photo and your presentation of it. Love the framing and I like the motion in the shot also. Great work Betty.
