Some people asked me if I actually made it up to Berg Lake so I am posting one from the lake.. when I get to the trailhead there was a big sign saying don't leave any valuables in car it will be stolen.. so I was looking at around 35 miles there and back including the scouting.. so with that I had about 100 pounds in my backpack including laptops, iPads, external drives, and then basically everything I had in my car had to be taken in the backpack.. now I am in terrible shape and not a good hiker.. anyways needless to say I almost died !!
to top it off when I didn't think I could go any further I see a Grizzly bear on the trail .. luckily it was busy eating the last berries
